Our Baby's All Grown Up

My baby girl is officially a big girl! Here is Sofia all ready for her first day of school today, which is at a nearby preschool for 3 hours a day, 2 days a week. I'm pretty sure this monumental day was much harder on Mama than anyone else, but we survived the goodbyes (Sofia shed a few tears...I held mine in until I reached the car). I already received a call from one of her lovely teachers who reported she is in good spirits and playing with a friend in the class's imaginary play section. I think my baby girl was ready for school.

Don't Get in the Way of This Kid and His Food

This is an older pic from the end of April (Miles was about 5.5 months old), but had to post it on the blog because it's one of my personal favorites. We weren't intending to give him this ultra cool and trendy faux hawk (it's what all the cool babies are sporting these days...I guess), his hair just naturally settles into this style (here we had a little pomade help). I also love the contrast of faux hawk tough guy sitting on flowery bedding.

CSU MBA Family Party

The CSU MBA program had a party for the classmates and their families in early May at the Denver Aquarium. The highlight of the evening was seeing Pern receive a leadership and excellence award. Smarty pants.
