Chatfield Hot Air Balloon Festival

To celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary, we got up extra early the morning of August 24th and went to the Chatfield Hot Air Balloon Festival - a photographer's dream come true.

FYI - Sofia took this pic of the 3 of us (and she loved the bunny balloon!)>

Girl's Got Rhythm

We went to the zoo a few weeks ago for a really fun evening event (which included music pumping through the loudspeakers), and it was there we discovered Our Girl Can Dance! Check out Sofia's awesome moves below. Update: Sofia is now enrolled in dance class. We must cultivate these skills.

Various June Pics, Round One

Can you believe she actually feel asleep like this? Even though she was obviously tired, she was really fighting the nap that day!

Cute Robot Baby

More Pics from Nana Peggy and Papa Russ' Visit May 2008

These first pics are just some general Opland kid cuteness followed by a Nana/Papa group shot, and then a pic of Boulder's Chautauqua dining hall where we ate dinner one night, and lastly a nice photo of Papa Russ holding Miles in the baby carrier (like a true professional).

A trip to Tiny Town - end of May 2008

We are so behind in keeping our photos updated on this blog, and I'm not really sure who even checks this on a regular basis, but for starters here are a few pics from Nana Peggy and Papa Russ' visit around Memorial Day. Of course we had to take them to one of our favorite sites near Denver, the one and only Tiny Town!! Love this place! More recent summer pics to be posted soon...I promise!

More Crested Butte Pics

Here are a few more pics from last weekend's getaway to Crested Butte, which is known as CO's wildflower capital. The place is covered with them and Sofia loved smelling every single one she could find, which made walking around a long (but entertaining) process.
